“The attacker collected intelligence on the deployment and movement of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Donetsk. First of all, he tried to determine the possible combat positions of the HIMARS rocket artillery system. In addition, he sent to occupiers the exact coordinates of the region’s critical infrastructure. It was on his “tip” that the occupiers hit the water intake system of the city of Selidov,” the statement said.

“According to the investigation, the collaborator turned out to be a local resident who, after the start of a full-scale invasion, continued to communicate with the invaders and sought to help in the war against Ukraine. He sent the collected information through of a “Connector”. The coordinates are carried out through the banned social networks Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki in the form of photographic materials with markings of objects on electronic maps,” the SBU reported.

During the search, law enforcement officers found computer equipment, flash drives, mobile phones with evidence of working for the enemy.

Earlier it was reported that the SBU exposed the representative of the Opposition Platform for Life of complicity with the occupiers.
