The explosion, traditionally referred to in Russia as a “pop”, occurred at a time when an air raid alert was issued in several regions of Ukraine.
In Russian Belgorod, not far from the Ukrainian border, on the night of Saturday, December 17, explosions rumbled. This was reported by local Telegram channels.
It is known that the explosions thundered after the announcement of the air raid alert in some regions of Ukraine.
“It is strong again in the Belgorod region. Details are being determined,” local channels wrote.
Ukrainian journalist Andrei Tsaplienko also reported that explosions took place in occupied Simferopol and Bakhchisarai.
Neither the Belgorod authorities nor the occupation administration in Crimea have commented on the explosions.
It will be recalled that after a large-scale missile attack in Ukraine on Friday morning, unknown objects fell near Volgograd in the Russian Federation. Local residents say it could be the remains of a rocket or a drone.
