The National Police of Ukraine detained and declared the suspicion of a 49-year-old resident of the Donetsk region, who agreed to work in the so-called “Pervomaisky district administration of the DPR.” This was announced on Saturday, December 3, in a publication of the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police.
The investigation established that in June 2022, he voluntarily took the pseudo-position of “manager of the administration of the Pervomaisky district of the DPR.”
“In the power body illegally created by the occupation administration, he performed organizational, administrative and economic tasks,” the police said.
The investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the State Bureau of Investigation informed the figurant about the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28, part 5 of Art. 111-1 (Collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The penalty of the article provides up to ten years in prison. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Procedural guidance is carried out by the Office of the Attorney General.
