The border guards of Belarus said that on December 1 they planted a “Ukrainian” drone at the border.
The military and border guards of the neighboring country spotted the UAV at an altitude of about 300 meters above the Mokrany checkpoint (Ukrainian Domanovo checkpoint), which is 1,200 meters from the border. This drone was allegedly heading from the territory of Ukraine to the rear of Belarus. The drone was forcibly landed using electronic weapons. The press service of the border committee reported this on Telegram.
It is noted that the quadrocopter had no identification marks and was equipped with a built-in video camera for reconnaissance.
Earlier, the State Border Service of Ukraine assured that the Ukrainian side does not create any provocations at the border, unlike Belarus.
Recall, the GNSU stated that Belarus is actively using electronic warfare to complicate the ability of border guards to monitor the line of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. In particular, Belarusian border guards periodically try to jam Ukrainian UAVs used by the Border Guard Service to monitor the territory.
