Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the so-called “special operation” in Ukraine would continue.
Russia is not ready to end the war against Ukraine. The Kremlin does not agree to the terms of the negotiations, which put US President Joe Biden. This was said by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, reports RIA Novosti.
“That is, in fact, what President Biden said: he said that negotiations are possible only after Putin leaves Ukraine,” Peskov said.
According to him, the Russian Federation will not agree to such conditions, and the so-called “special operation” will continue.
“The United States still does not recognize new territories within the Russian Federation. And, of course, this significantly complicates the search for some kind of mutual ground. Grounds that are possible for mutual discussion,” said Peskov .
Recall that Biden made a statement about negotiations with Putin.
Earlier, the Kremlin spokesman said negotiations were impossible because they were “absolutely rejected by the Ukrainian side.”
