The Defense Ministry has repeatedly indicated that the occupied peninsula will be liberated next winter.
Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said for the second time that temporarily occupied Crimea could be liberated this winter. This follows from a message to the defense department at Twitter.
“Those who are now talking about a possible ‘pause in the fighting’ due to the winter frost, probably never stretched in January on the southern coast of Crimea,” the report said.
A few days earlier, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Volodymyr Gavrilov, told the British media that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could return to Crimea at the end of December, and in the spring of 2023 the war with Russia would end.
In turn, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said that forecasts for the end of the war in the spring of 2023 are “like a dream.”
