This is the second such action by eco-activists in October, with the help of which they are trying to draw attention to the problem of climate change.
Activists of the Letzte Generation group poured mashed potatoes over the painting “Haystacks” by French artist Claude Monet on display at the Barberini Museum in Potsdam, Germany, Bild reported on Sunday, October 23.
“People are starving, people are freezing, people are dying – we are in a climate disaster and the only thing you fear is tomato soup or mashed potatoes in pictures… This picture is not important if we are forced to fight. for food,” – said one of the activists.

The value of the picture is estimated at 110 million dollars.
