Russia confirmed on Tuesday that it had attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure after Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced a new attack on the Ukrainian capital, which resulted in the damage of “two vital infrastructure facilities”, which led to a shutdown of water and electricity in part of the city.
Russian attacks have also been recorded against other cities in Ukrainesuch as Zhytomyr, Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, Kharkiv, Krivoy Rog and Dnieper, in the south and east of the country.

On Monday, Russia attacked the center of Kyiv with “suicide drones”, which the Ukrainian authorities considered an act of “despair” on the part of Moscow. As a result of one of the explosions, a residential building was destroyed, five people were killed.
It was the second Monday in a row Russia struck, and military experts see this as a response to the failures suffered by Moscow on the battlefield.
