The artist, together with his colleagues, corrected a mistake that was in the name of the city for a long time.
Musician Kolya Serga, who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the beginning of the war and travels with concerts to the front and the liberated territories with the Cultural Landing Force, says what has changed in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region . He announced it on Instagram.
So, according to him, according to the standards of the Ukrainian language, the apostrophe is always in the name of the city, but it is not in the signs located at the entrance and exit. Only on the facades of administrative buildings they called it correctly. And there, the city with Ukrainian characteristics was uprooted by the Russian invaders.
“Just now, when this city is free again, two small signs are important. The settlement, which is very difficult to bring back home, where the defenders of Ukraine died bravely, cannot be called “Kupyansk. ” A small mark of an apostrophe has become an important boundary between the civilized world and Russia,” he said.
Kolya Serga added that without proper equipment, without much experience, the participants of the Cultural Landing Force climbed to a height of seven meters to complete the spell.
“Without the right equipment, there is no special experience at a seven-meter height … but it is important. And the residents of this beautiful city, too. Kupyansk at home. Under the protection of the law and spelling. If passed you, pay attention. This is not a small thing. But a sacred sign. Amulet!” , – the musician wrote.
Earlier it was reported that Kolya Serga, after a morning attack by kamikaze drones in Kyiv, wrote a new poem.
