He asked all Ukrainians in the territory where the occupiers should pay special attention to security policies.
Mines are a great danger in unoccupied territories. And this threat must be treated with full responsibility. This was announced on Saturday, October 8, by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
“In the occupied territories, we do not slow down for a day in restoring work. It is transport, it is electricity, it is gas supply, it is mail, social payments – wherever there is a real opportunity to give it, we give it,” said the president.

At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that the demining of territories cannot be carried out very quickly. Therefore, he asked all Ukrainians in the territory where the invaders are present, to be more attentive to the mine threat.
“Our explosives experts, our sappers are working to the maximum, but after the invaders a very significant area is contaminated with mines. Please ignore the warnings about the mines, do not visit the territory closed because of the danger , please inform the police, the State Emergency Service and local authorities about any discovered mines or unexploded ammunition,” Zelensky said.
Earlier, in the Sumy region, a car connected to JSC Ukrtelecom was blown up by an enemy mine. One person died, three were injured.
