“The next months have a certain importance not only in terms of military operations, the next months will play a decisive role to prepare the liberated territories to some extent for the winter. Let’s see what what you need, which hospitals, schools, where there are no roofs, and on the German side, we will return to life in the liberated villages and cities,” said the German Foreign Minister.
It should be noted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Burbock, came to Ukraine for the second time since the beginning of the war. At the same time, he visited the Bolshaya Dymerka near Kyiv, where he promised Ukraine more help in mine clearance.
He was told that after the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kyiv, “mines were found even in children’s toys in private apartments.”
Bolshaya Dymerka, Germany, is known to support a civilian demining project. The federal government allocated a total of six million euros for the disposal of explosive ordnance to the non-governmental organization Halo. According to the Federal Foreign Office, an increase of another million euros is planned before the end of the year.
Earlier, Burbock condemned the Germans for being concerned about reparations rather than the lives of Ukrainians.
