The Russian occupiers are trying to establish full control over the territory of Donbass and keep the territories already occupied.
The enemy is reinforcing the grouping of troops in the Donetsk direction in the Kurakhovsky direction by regrouping individual units from the Central Military District. And parts of the 3rd Army Corps are moving to the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions. Enemy artillery shelled the settlements of Gremyach in the Chernihiv region and Novovasilovka, Bachevsk, Starikove, Sands and Miropolskoe in the Sumy region. This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dated August 30.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the Russians are trying to keep the previously occupied lines. In the Kharkov direction, the enemy fired at the districts of Kharkov and 13 settlements. And in the Slavic direction, Russian MLRS and artillery hit near Prishib, Gusarovka and Krasnopolye. The enemy tried to advance in the direction of Shnurkov, but suffered a fiery defeat and retreated.

The General Staff added that units of the Armed Forces are engaged in positional battles in order to improve the tactical position along the line of collision. The defenders focused their main efforts on destroying enemy command posts, air defense systems, ammunition depots and disrupting the functioning of the Russian logistics system.
The enemy shelled the areas of four settlements in the Kramatorsk direction and five settlements in the Bakhmut direction. In the directions of Zaitsev, Veselaia Dolina and Bakhmut, the enemy wanted to advance, but he did not succeed. In addition, the invaders are simultaneously trying to establish control over Kodema in several directions at the same time, and now the fighting continues there.
A number of settlements were fired upon by the invaders in the Avdeevsky, Novopavlovsky, Zaporizhzhya and Yuzhnobuzhsky directions. Fixed unsuccessful assaults of the Russians in the areas of Polling, Avdeevka, Pervomaisky and Krasnogorovka.
As a reminder, British intelligence has reported that most of the Russian units around Kherson are likely undermanned and dependent on fragile supply lines due to ferries and pontoon bridges across the Dnieper.
