The Russian diplomat responded to the post of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who thanked Joe Biden for a new aid package to Ukraine.
The Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov on Friday, August 19, wrote a post on Twitter with an appeal “do not spare the Ukrainian population.”
He published his tweet in response to a post of thanks from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for a new military aid package that the United States earmarked for Ukraine today. Later, Ulyanov deleted his post, but it remained in the web archive of the social network, and screenshots also remained on the network.

After Ulyanov wrote another post with “apology”.

“I have to apologize. I forgot who I was dealing with. Of course, I mean the United States with their arms supplies and the President of Ukraine, who just yesterday said that he rejects any peace talks. In fact, there is no mercy on their part for the Ukrainian population. That’s what I said,” said Ulyanov.
Recall that at a public transport stop in Warsaw, a drunk Russian shouted insults at passers-by and started a fight.
It was previously reported that Montenegro declared the ambassador of the Russian Federation persona non grata. Russian diplomat Vladislav Maslennikov had to leave the country for seven days. If he does not do this, he does not have any diplomatic power.
