Representatives of the supposedly elite division of the Russian Guard stole everything left by local residents of the Kiev region, who fled from the “liberators” – from underwear and clothes to household items .
Investigators have established the involvement of eight more servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation in violations of the laws and customs of war. In particular, we are talking about the robbery of the inhabitants of the Buchansk community of the Kyiv region. This is what the National Police reported.
In the course of investigative and search activities, law enforcement officials recorded the criminal activities of military personnel of military unit No. 6720 of the National Guard of the aggressor country. From February 24 to March 31, acting at will, contrary to compliance with the laws and customs of war, Russian war criminals looted the private property of the local population. At the same time, the seized property could not be used for military purposes, and the conquerors robbed the people only for the purpose of personal gain.
The items seized by the eight Russian military men and their henchmen were items of general consumption – from underwear and clothing to household goods and items they sent from the Belarusian territory city of Mozyr to their relatives by mail.
Currently, in said proceedings, opened for committing criminal offenses under Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war), 18 looters in Russian military uniforms have been notified of suspicion. It was previously reported that 10 invaders were suspected, they were placed on the international wanted list and a measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen for them.
The punishment of the article provides punishment in the form of imprisonment for eight to twelve years.
We remind, earlier the SBU called the military of the Russian Federation, which ordered to shoot the inhabitants of the Kiev region. The Ukrainian special services have collected a complete evidence base of the occupier and informed him of the suspicion.
