The projectile hit a tank of nitric acid, causing a poisonous cloud to appear in the air, but the wind carried it to Russian military positions.

A cloud of nitric acid vapors, formed after a Russian shell hit the tank, spread over the positions of the shooters themselves. This was announced on Saturday night, April 9, by the head of the regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai.

He noted that the explosion of a tank with four tonnes of non-concentrated nitric acid occurred at 17:09 as a result of Russia’s shelling in an industrial zone in the Luhansk region.

“The Russians did not know how to fight – they did not even calculate the wind direction. The cloud spread in the direction of their positions near Kudryashivka and Varvarovka,” the report said.

Gaidai also said there was no threat to the lives of the population.

Recall that a few days ago a similar incident occurred in Rubizhne: a Russian shell hit a tank with nitric acid.

And now, large fires have occurred in Lisichansk due to the shelling of the Russian Federation.
