More than 280 employees of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau signed a collective appeal to the Kyiv Court of Appeal to ensure an open consideration of the case of the NABU employee Ruslan Magameddrasulov, detained in July 2025.
This was announced today, on August 25, the Nabu Press service, publishing the relevant document.
Bureau employees signed a collective appeal to the court to ensure public consideration. It is important for society to hear the essence of the accusation and see the evidence on which the suspicion is based, NABU emphasized.
It is noted that the signing of the letter is considering the events that occurred against Nabu employees, in particular Magameddrasulov, in July 2025, “Procedure arbitrariness caused by the political goal.”
The use of the narrative “neutralization of Russian influence” is a dangerous strategy for justifying illegal measures and removing the attention of society from the main goal of these events – for the deprivation of Nabu and SAP institutional independence, the authors of the appeal said.
The authors of the appeal emphasize that the open court will allow Nabu, SAP and civil society “Confidence in the judicial authorities and their decisions” and make sure that the process is fair.
We recall that on July 21, SBU held a number of searches and detentions regarding the work of NABU and SAP. In particular, Ruslan Magameddrasulov, one of the leaders of the NABU interregional departments, was detained on suspicion of doing business with the Russian Federation and contacts with the Rushists.
