Ukraine and Russia will agree with the third cycle of negotiations after completing a large exchange of prisoners. President Vladimir Zelensky said this during a conversation with journalists on June 13.
“The exchange is carried out today. You see what it is, not easy. The information I own: Our defense minister is in contact with Medinsky, Russian team representative, regarding the exchanges. The agreement is like that the exchanges will end, and the parties will discuss the next step,” said the head of the state.
It is first known that exchanges can be completed on June 20 or 21.
“I don’t want to just say the exact date, because they are people, the exchanges are not easy. But they will be. Tomorrow. It should be. Right now, no added,” Zelensky said.
Keep in mind that the exchange of prisoners, including the injured, according to the formula for “all” Ukrainian representatives and Russians agreed to conduct negotiations in Istanbul on June 2.
The first phase of a large exchange occurred on June 9. Also, exchanges took place on June 10 and 12. In addition, Ukraine and the Russian Federation agreed with the exchange of victims of victims in a format of 6,000 by 6000. The return of the bodies took place on June 11, 13 and 14.
