The State Commissar in the Language Taras Kremin responded to Moscow Andrei Danilko’s speech (“Verki Serduchka”) and a resident of Osokor.
We have signs of a gross violation of articles 23 and 29 of the Law of Ukraine “to ensure the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state” – in the use of the state language in the field of culture and during public events. In addition, since 2023, a moratorium on the public use of a Russian musical product, which was also neglected, officially worked in Kyiv, ”said Taras Kremin.
The commissar decided to open public administration of the event for the organizer of the public event.
On May 13, Russian speech Danilko took place in a resident of Spekor. During the event, the songs were in Russian, in the same language the performer turned to the audience during speech, reports UP.
The commercials from the event on social networks were published by the television channel and actress Tala Katalah. The Verka Serdyuchka video performs old hits, including Russian-speaking songs “Ha-Ra-Sho” and “Dolce’s Gaban’s Dolce”.
The video that shot others in the event show that at least some concert programs were also held in Russian.
The host and journalist of the channel Viktor Dichenko said that on behalf of the Ukrainian Language NGO, he complained about the public event in Russian in the state language of the Ombudsman Taras Kremin.
I hope that we will stop imitating and waiting for the Russian army in Kyiv, ”the activist added.
Danilko and his team did not comment on their act.
