Ukraine and Russia will be held with a new exchange of prisoners – the fourth a week. It was announced by President Vladimir Zelensky on Telegram on Saturday, June 14.
According to the head of the state, among the liberated many obtained since 2022. These are the warriors of the armed forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the state border service and the state’s special transportation service.
At the coordination station, on issues of dealing with war inmates, they determined that they had returned military personnel injured and health problems. A significant part of the defenders released today was obtained during the Mariupol defense.
Most of the soldiers who are released today are officers. Also part of the release – under 25 years old.
The Ukrainians returned home, fought in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Lugansk, Kherson, Kharkov, Sumy and Kursk direction.
Commissioner Dmitry Lubinets noted that the eldest of the returning fighters was 63 years old, the youngest 21 years old. Among those liberated there are those considered missing.
Russian media records that the Russian Federation and Ukraine began the So -called sanitary exchange of injured military personnel.
The exchange of prisoners, including the injured, according to the formula “all and for all” Ukrainian and Russian representatives have agreed to conduct negotiations in Istanbul on June 2.
Note that the first phase of a large exchange occurred on June 9. The exchanges also occurred on June 10 and 12. In addition, Ukraine and the Russian Federation were agreed to replace the bodies of the dead in a format of 6,000 by 6000. The return of the bodies took place on June 11, 13 and 14. Generally, more than 3,600 bodies of the dead were returned to Ukraine.
