The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about the situation on the border with Belarus in the Volyn and Polesye directions in the morning report on July 19. According to the Ukrainian defenders, the Belarusian army is now undergoing a rotation of the military, covering the border section.
In the border areas, aerial reconnaissance is conducted by drones. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of the Republic of Belarus remains, the report says.
At the same time, in the Seversky direction, units of the Russian armed forces are intensively guarding sections of the Ukrainian-Russian border.
The enemy fired mortars and artillery at the areas of the settlements of Mykolaivka in the Chernihiv region and the settlements of Zarutskoe, Zhuravka, Belopolye, Iskraskovschina of the Sumy region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.
Also, units of Russian war criminals continue to conduct aerial reconnaissance.
