The appointment of OSCE mission leaders has been approved by the current chairman of the organization, currently Foreign Minister of Finland Elina Valtonen when consulting the OSCE leadership and the countries where missions are located.

The OSCE Press service confirmed that the selection process is still ongoing, but refused to comment on specific candidates for confidentiality.

Russian trace of OSCE and SPY activities

Western governments have repeatedly accused Moscow of using OSCE to advance their interests and sabotage the organization, especially in connection with the war in Ukraine.

The RFE/RL investigation revealed that Jordanedi had long connections to the balcans. Since 2009, he has worked at the Russian Embassy in Sarajevo, and later led the OSCE Field Office in Banya-Luk-the capital of the Republic of Serbian as part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Jordani is on the Belgian intelligence list, which also connects him with other suspects in spy diplomats, specifically:

Russia fits into spy methods

Despite the mass expulsions of spy diplomats, west security services warn that Moscow is changing tactics.

According to expert Nato James Appaturai, Russia is more actively using cyberspace to recruit agents, which attract criminal groups to sabotage and undoubtedly citizens.

“They may not know that they are working for Russia’s intelligence,” Appatura said, adding that these agents could burn cars, tear the transport of the railroad or attack politicians.

In January, Polish prime minister Donald Tusk said that Russia had planned the “gesture of wind terrorism” against Poland and other countries.

Moscow has traditionally denied accusations of terrorist activity overseas.
