The bill on criminal liability for the heads of the Tax Code and VLK for violation of the mobilization law was supported by Verkhovna Rada.
On Wednesday, March 12, the parliament approved 273 votes in the first reading of the draft Law No. 12442 on amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine to introduce criminal liability for violation of the legislation on defense, training in mobilization and mobilization, and committing heads of territorial centers of personnel and military. The deputy people Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on Telegram.
Excess initiators propose to establish criminal liability for violation of the procedure for a medical examination (military medical examination) to determine suitability for the healthcare service.
Responsibility is also granted for violation of the CCC by the Civil Code of the Civil Service for Military Service.
The Tax Code for violation of orders on the calls of citizens for military service is proposed to imprisonment for a period of three to eight years with deprivation of the right to take certain positions (from one year to three years).
A similar punishment is proposed for the heads and members of VLK for violation of a medical examination.
We recall that on January 15, Verkhovna Rada continued martial law and mobilization for another 90 days – until February 8 and May 9, 2025. Thus, the parliament made 14 times the decision to continue martial law and general mobilization in the country since the beginning of a full -fledged Russian invasion.
