Tsivinsky successfully passed the polygraph on Tuesday, and on Wednesday it will probably be appointed in the post.
The government on Wednesday, August 6, will appoint the winner of the competition Alexander Tsivinsky in the post of Bureau of Economic Security director. This is reported by the reality of Ukrainians with reference to its own resources in political circles.
According to the publication, on Tuesday, Tsivinsky successfully passed the polygraph, announced by prime minister Julia Sviridenko to “guarantee the situation of any manipulation.”
Note that in June a competition for the position of the BEB director was suspended after the SBU sent a letter with warnings associated with the three candidates. The document refers to their possible connection to Russia. Reports also mentioned Tsivinsky.
However, by the end of June, Alexander Tsivinsky declared the winner of the competition. Three representatives of international organizations supported his candidacy, but not one of the government representatives who approved him.
The Ministers’ cabinet, who should approve the winner of his post until the end of July, refused to do so. The situation changed after a scandal on anti -corruption bodies in Ukraine and the pressure of European partners. Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko then announced the way to “remove all questions and doubt through a civilized way” – send Tsivinsky to polygraph.
