The British government is reviewing the statement of “DPR” representatives about the death of volunteer Paul Ury.
The British Foreign Office is examining information about the death of volunteer Paul Ury in the captivity of militants of the so -called “DNR”. This was reported by British news channel Sky News on Friday, July 15.
The media said the quasi-authorities of the “republic” had presented Uri with a so-called “charge” of mercenaryism. The Briton was captured in the Zaporozhye region on 25 April.
The so-called “ombudsman” of the pseudo-republic, Daria Morozova, said the man suffered from diabetes, respiratory problems, kidneys and the cardiovascular system. According to him, despite the medical assistance provided, he died on July 10.
British government sources told the channel that the Foreign Office was “immediately reviewing” these reports.
They also added that Uri’s son was immediately warned that he had to prepare for the worst after they found out about his father’s arrest by the “DNR”.
Recall, representatives of the group “DPR” said that a captured British volunteer Paul Johnson Anthony Dominic Ury died in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.
Earlier it was reported that the so -called “DPR court” sentenced to death three foreigners, British citizens Sean Pinner and Aiden Aslin and Moroccan citizen Saadoun Brahim.
