Ireland’s prime minister spoke about his negotiations with Zelensky and for help for Ukraine.

Ireland is ready to send its troops as peacemakers to Ukraine. This was based on the results of the meeting with President Vladimir Zelensky on Thursday, February 27, Ireland’s prime minister Michel Martin told reporters, reports the Irish Examiner.

Thus, Martin said he told Zelensky that Ireland was open to help, along with sending the peacemakers to Ukraine.

In addition, the parties discussed the job to achieve a “stable and strong” peaceful war, as well as many other issues.

“We have made it clear that we will continue to achieve the acceleration of terms of entry of Ukraine into the European Union.

Ireland’s prime minister noted that this is a priority, as it provides some security guarantees for Ukraine, and in the economy it opens significant opportunities for the country in the future.

Martin also explained the issue of financial support problem for Ukraine.

“We discussed Ukraine’s financial support of Ireland. I explained that our obligations within the plot of the European Foundation of the World were torn by Hungary’s decision to impose a veto in expanding European world’s European funds created by the European Union,” the Prime Minister said.

At the same time, he noted that alternative techniques for providing financial assistance to Ukraine were considered, and a number of ideas appeared at the meeting.

“In particular, they have a comprehensive nutrition program for children in limited schools, and we have promised to support this initiative and work with Ukrainian officials in this direction,” he said.

In addition, Martin emphasized that Zelensky was “dedicated” that Europe was centrally involved in the potential peaceful regulation, and also said that the Ukrainian president appreciated US support.

As you know, Zelensky stopped Ireland on the way to the United States, where he should meet with Donald Trump to sign an agreement with minerals.

Accordingly, Mikhol Martin had earlier removed a planned visit to Belfast to meet the President of Ukraine.
