Russian President Putin storms into the theater and leaves the online meeting due to an alleged “important international call.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin told participants at a meeting of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives that he was forced to leave for an “international telephone conversation.”
“I apologize in advance, there is a need to conduct an international telephone conversation, so during the report I have to step away from the screen for five minutes I will speak and return to my workplace ,” Putin said, interrupting ASI head Svetlana Chupsheva’s report.
Putin did not specify with whom he was planning the talks.
However, it later became known that the President of Russia had a telephone conversation with his counterpart from Guinea-Bissau, Oumar Sissoku Embalo.
According to the Kremlin press service, the heads of state discussed the expansion of partnership in trade, economy, investment and humanitarian spheres, and also agreed to continue personal communication.
The corresponding video, in particular, was published by journalist Andrei Tsaplienko.
“The head of a state that is strategically important for the Russian Federation, Guinea-Bissau, urgently wants to talk to Putin. If anything, it will be in West Africa,” added the journalist ironically.
We remind you that Putin “forgave” $600 million of loans to “friendly” countries
At the same time, the state bank of the Russian Federation VTB, which was subjected to Western sanctions and disconnected from the SWIFT system, is closing its only subsidiary in Africa.
