The husband of deputy Irina Kormyshkina received suspicion from NABU and SAPO of legalizing property. Previously, suspicion was announced to the people’s deputy herself.
NABU and SAPO suspect the husband of MP from the Servant of the People Kormyshkina of legalizing property that his wife acquired illegally, as well as failing to declare this property, writes the Anti-Corruption Center.
A few weeks ago, deputy Kormyshkina was accused of failing to declare property.
According to anti-corruption authorities, in 2021-2022, the deputy acquired more than 20 million UAH in property, which significantly exceeded her legal income and savings.
Subsequently, she loaned them to her husband Yuri, who used these funds to purchase a house near Odessa, where the couple now live.
In addition, neither the deputy nor her husband indicated in the declaration for 2023 information about the mentioned house and the two plots of land they used.
Let us recall that in October last year, NABU and SAPO reported suspicion of Kormyshkina due to 20 million assets of unknown origin. Subsequently, she was taken into bail by the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, and the head of the Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim.
Igor Kormyshkin is a deputy of the Nikolaev Regional Council of several convocations, an agribusinessman.
In the 2000s he was a deputy of the regional council from the Party of Regions. After Maidan, he was elected from the Our Land party. This is a banned party, headed by the traitor Andrei Derkach.
Last year, Kormyshkin resigned early as a deputy of the Nikolaev Regional Council, saying that he was leaving politics “due to health problems.”
