In Kupyansk, Kharkov region, as a result of a strike by a Russian Molniya-2 drone today, January 21, in the morning, three police officers serving in the city and two civilians were injured.
This was reported by the press service of the Kharkov region police.
Three police officers received shrapnel wounds of varying severity. They are provided with medical assistance. The official vehicle was damaged, police said.
A civilian car also came under fire; a 64-year-old woman and her 68-year-old man, residents of the city, were wounded.
An investigative team is working at the scene of the incident. The crime is documented and material evidence is confiscated. Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code, the police said.
