Lukashenko spoke critically about plans to build parade grounds and sports grounds for military personnel.
There is no extra money to finance the Belarusian army. This was said by the self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko during a report on the approval of the State Investment Program for 2025, his press service reports.
It was noted that during the event, Lukashenko “spoke critically about plans for the construction of some facilities that are not a priority or are in high demand, including for the needs of the security forces.” We are talking about the construction of parade grounds and sports grounds for military personnel.
We remind you that on January 14, Russia and Belarus started joint military exercises in Minsk.
Earlier, the Belarusian Gayun monitoring group said that Belarus in December redeployed its army units that had previously been withdrawn from there to the Ukrainian border. There are currently around 1,500 military personnel there.
