The number of victims in Zaporozhye as a result of yesterday’s bombing increased to 116 people.
There are currently 66 victims in medical institutions. 11 people are in critical condition in intensive care units. The remaining victims were hospitalized in moderate condition. 47 people are undergoing outpatient treatment, including a 13-year-old girl with a shell shock. The head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, announced this on January 9 in Telegram.
And during the telethon, the head of the regional military administration added that the invaders attacked the industrial area of Zaporozhye at a time when local residents were getting ready to go home after work. They used public transport and that is why so many were killed and injured.
They used minibuses, so people died in the minibuses and two minibus taxi cars were destroyed. They got into their cars, which is why 36 cars were destroyed. This is truly an industrial area, where residents simply finished their shift and went home,” Fedorov noted.
Let us remind you that on January 9, Russian aviation dropped at least two aerial bombs on Zaporozhye. The cabs hit the roadway of the city – dozens of cars caught fire, a tram and minibuses were destroyed, and four administrative buildings were damaged. 13 people died.
