Brazil sent Kazakh investigators data from flight recorders taken from the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed on December 25 near the city of Aktau. This was reported by Radio Liberty in connection with a statement from the Brazilian Air Force Laboratory.
The statement, issued on January 6, refers to the completion of the removal of data from the cockpit recorders of Embraer aircraft.
What exactly the recordings contained has not been made public. As the Brazilian department noted, this is the responsibility of the Kazakh side.
We remind you that on December 25, an AZAL plane crashed on a Baku-Grozny flight in Kazakhstan. 38 people were killed, mostly citizens of Azerbaijan. Later, the media reported that the plane was attacked on approach to Grozny by a missile from the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft complex. After that, the Russians banned the crew from landing at Russian airports.
According to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the blame for the downing of the Embraer 190 passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) lies with representatives of Russia. Azerbaijan demands justice and punishment for the perpetrators.
