The Russian military is shelling populated areas of Kherson with artillery, mortars and drones. Two people died and 11 others were injured. The press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Monday, January 6.
Around 11:20, the invaders attacked the village of Shirokaya Balka with a drone. Due to the dropped explosives, a 48-year-old man who was on the street was killed.
During the day, three civilians were injured as a result of shelling in the regional center. Two people were injured in Zelenovka, and one in Veletensky.

At least 10 civilian objects were damaged, including private houses and vehicles.
