Every day, two platoons of occupying infantry companies enter a village in Donbass for an attack. The battle continues for each house.
Russian invaders continue to put pressure on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Donetsk region. It is “real hell” in Novovasilyevka today, the Deep State monitoring project reported on the evening of Thursday, January 2.
It was noted that the Russians had “climbed” in several places in the area.
“Every day, about two infantry platoons in a company enter the village to attack [оккупантов]. Mostly on foot, sometimes with the support of armored fighting vehicles (armored combat vehicles – ed.), and sometimes even in LAT (passenger vehicle transport – ed.),” the message said.
According to the Deep State, Russian invaders are thriving in the middle of the village. There are “extremely fierce” battles for every house and street.
They also emphasized that the Defense Forces are showing heroism in holding off an outnumbered enemy.
Let us recall that on Thursday night the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in the direction of Pokrovsky, where Novovasylivka belongs, the enemy is suffering heavy losses – during the day, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 259 who will conquer this direction, 113 of them irrevocably.
Heavy fighting is also reported to continue in the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region. The Russians are trying to enter the village of Shcherbinovka and seize the fireproof plant.
