The driver of the vehicle refused to provide documents during the military credentials check.
In the Kyiv region, a clash took place at one of the checkpoints with the participation of TCC workers. The regional department of the National Police reported this on Saturday, December 28.
It is indicated that during the examination of military registration documents, the driver refused to provide documents confirming his identity.
“As the vehicle continued to move, the driver hit a TCC employee, then the TCC employee hit the windshield of the car with his fist. The victim fled,” the report said.
Based on this fact, the leadership of the regional department of the National Police initiated an internal investigation to provide a legal assessment of the actions of the police.
Earlier in December, the police began an official investigation into the burning of a car with a passenger in Vyshgorod. The police officers involved have been suspended pending an investigation.
