Together, this will provide around 4,000 additional round-trip seats for passengers across the country.
To meet passenger demand for the holidays, Ukrzaliznytsia JSC added 52 cars to trains across Ukraine. The company’s press service reported this on Thursday, December 26.
“To meet passenger demand for holiday trips, we are adding 52 cars to trains across the country, including five cars at once on train No. 79/80 Lviv – Kyiv – Dnepr,” said the message.
Additional carriages were added to the trains:
-
No. 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhgorod,
-
No. 95/96 Kyiv – Rakhiv,
-
No. 39/40 Zaporozhye – Solotvino,
-
No. 127/128 Zaporozhye – Lviv,
-
No. 121/122 Nikolaev – Kyiv and others.
Together, this will provide around 4,000 additional round-trip seats for passengers across the country.
In addition, at this time the railway provided maximum transportation for organized groups of children. By the New Year (including December 31), almost seven thousand passengers in this category will use the trains.
Remind you that Ukrzaliznytsia has announced repairs from December 17 to 20 in the Kolomyia-Chernivtsi section. This will affect the routes of some passenger trains and commuter trains.
