On Thursday, December 26, a vote was supposed to take place for the personnel of the Public Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense, however, a technical glitch occurred.
Shortly after voting opened at 9:00 a.m., the system could no longer accept votes.
The reason was internal technical problems, in particular, unstable operation of the site and errors in user authentication, the Ministry of Defense says.
Despite the fact that voting was supposed to start at 9:00, some voted and publicly reported about it already at 8:00, which means that the elections began “with ballots in the chest,” writes the leader of the Demsokira Movement Yuri Gudymenko, who also on the list of candidates.
The voting results will be canceled today. The elections were postponed to January 7 – they will continue from 9.00 to 21.00 at the link: https://rgk.vote.mod.gov.ua/.
The Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense should monitor corruption in the Ministry of Defense and counteract it on behalf of the public. Based on the voting results, it will include 15 candidates, they are elected for two years.
