Before Russia’s massive invasion of Ukraine, military records were not given the same attention as they are today.
The National Qualifications Agency has registered the professional standard “Military Records Inspector”. This document will guide all Ukrainian businesses hiring a specialist for this position. The chief specialist of the department of the Central Directorate of Military Education and Science of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Alexey Dudka, spoke about this on Tuesday, December 24, ArmiyaInform reports.
He noted that military records should be kept in all Ukrainian enterprises, but there are still not enough specialists with the necessary knowledge.
“This standard will be a guide for employers and employees: it clearly defines what a person should do in such a position.
According to him, the specialists who will be hired as military record inspectors will be able to advise businesses on law enforcement, preventing fines and organizing mobilization work.
Alexey Dudka emphasized that businesses need to send their military registration inspectors for training. He noted that currently in Ukraine about two dozen educational institutions conduct advanced training courses, where “they teach this science to one degree or another.”
Remind us that the Verkhovna Rada decided that men from 25 to 60 years old will be subject to mobilization in Ukraine. However, according to Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Ukraine’s Western partners have questions about the mobilization of 18-25 year olds.
