TNT production plant exploded in Turkey (PHOTO)

    12 people were killed and three injured in an explosion at an explosives factory in Turkey.

    .

    According to the governor of Balikesir province, Ismail Ustaoglu, the explosion occurred in the production workshop of the plant, but the cause remains unknown.

    Baki Eser, head of the Keteili district, one of the villages located near the plant, said:

    A place inside the plant where gunpowder capsules are made exploded. There were a lot of workers there <…> About 1000 people work.

    According to the company’s website, the plant, among other things, produces ammunition, including for hunting and sports, and explosives for civilian use.
