Tyson Fury, a British boxer, declared a “Christmas gift” for Oleksandr Usyk from the judges after losing a rematch in Riyadh.
Usyk defeated Fury by unanimous decision: all three preferred the Ukrainian with the same score of 116-112. After the fight, the British boxer expressed dissatisfaction with such assessments, calling them a “gift” for the Ukrainian.
The judges did [Усику] Christmas gift. I feel like I won both fights. I know I should knock him out, but this is boxing, these things happen. “I have no doubt that I won this fight,” Fury said at the post-fight press conference.
The Usyk-Fury 2 fight ended in a unanimous decision after twelve rounds of boxing. The fight went the full distance, and it can be divided into several parts: at the start of the fight the Briton dominated, but closer to the second, Usik took control of it.
Tyson added that he was defeated, although, in his opinion, he was treated unfairly.
I won’t cry over defeat, because the fight is already over. “I have been boxing all my life, but I always feel that I was treated a little harshly, not even a little,” said the Briton.
In 38 fights, the loss to Usik in the rematch is Fury’s second in his career. The Briton also lost to Alexander in May, when the Ukrainian won by split decision.
After defeating Fury, Usyk raised Hetman Mazepa’s original template in the ring
