The law enforcement officer was caught in the act after receiving eight thousand dollars from one of the “clients.”
In the Rivne region, the State Bureau of Investigation exposed a law enforcement officer and his accomplice for organizing the departure of “evaders” to Belarus. The SBI press service reported this on Monday, December 16.
In November 2024, two acquaintances approached the law enforcement officer with a desire to leave for the EU. The official offered them to go through Belarus, because he considered it “safer.”
For transportation, law enforcement wants $8,000 per person. He had to be helped by a local resident who was also familiar with the border area.
The law enforcement officer planned to take the “clients” from Rivne in his own car, past all the checkpoints to one of the villages not far from the border. Then his accomplice must escort the men to the border. The men have to cross the border directly on their own according to the instructions given.
It was learned that on December 12, the law enforcement officer was arrested “in the act” after receiving $8,000 from one of the “clients.”
Remind you that a law enforcement officer from the Lviv region, for a bribe of five thousand euros, drove acquaintances of male conscripts to the border in his car, using his official ID.
