The aggressor country Russia is withdrawing its troops from Syria.
Problems with the evacuation of the Russian contingent from remote Syrian areas have worsened. The occupiers on some routes are accompanied by armed groups opposed to the regime of Bashar al-Assad. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on December 15.
The Russian troops say that the Kremlin allegedly wants to leave a contingent at the Syrian bases in Tartus and Khmeimim. About 3 thousand military personnel should remain there.
However, at these bases, as well as on Russian ships in Syria, there are problems with drinking water and food.
The Main Intelligence Directorate notes that Russian soldiers are waiting for the military transport aircraft involved in the evacuation, which are supposed to deliver food. Flights of two An-124-100 and two Il-76MD from Chkalovsk to Khmeim were planned for December 14.
Let us recall that the aggressor country, Russia, turned to Turkey with a request for assistance in the withdrawal of its military contingent from the territory of Syria.
