Law enforcement officials detained the perpetrator who fled the scene of a fatal accident in the Lviv region. This was announced by the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, Alexey Beloshitsky, on Telegram on Sunday, October 15.
“He killed 7 lives, injured 3 and disappeared… In the Lviv region in the morning there was an accident involving a truck, a minibus and a BMW car The driver of the car fled the scene, leaving the his car and the victims,” he wrote.
According to preliminary data, the driver, while drunk, ran into the oncoming lane, where he was hit by a truck. He became uncontrollable and crashed into a minibus.
“The BMW driver is in custody. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing,” Beloshitsky added.
Earlier on Sunday it became known that a triple accident occurred near Lviv – involving a truck, a car and a minibus. Seven people died and three were injured. All the dead were passengers in a Mercedes Sprinter minibus.
We remind you that in the Lviv region a pedestrian fell under the wheels of three cars. The man died on the spot from his injuries.
