Incoming president Devin Nunes is expected to provide an independent assessment of the effectiveness and suitability of the US intelligence community.
US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed the CEO of his social network Truth Social, Devin Nunes, to head the US Presidential Intelligence Advisory Council. Reuters reported this on Saturday, December 14.
It is noted that Nunes, a longtime ally of Trump, chaired the Intelligence Committee of the US House of Representatives during his first term as president. He will now combine his post at Truth Social with his work on the Advisory Board.
“Devin will use his experience as former Chairman of the Intelligence Committee and his key role in debunking the so-called ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ hoax to provide me with an independent assessment of the effectiveness and appropriateness of the actions of the American intelligence community,” Trump said.
As you know, after winning the presidential election, Trump is actively forming his new administration, putting honest people in key positions. It was previously reported that Trump would appoint his matchmaker, who has a criminal record, as ambassador to France.
