Several videos of the arrest appeared on social networks. Before this, the security forces used water cannon and tear gas.

In Tbilisi, for the first time in three days, police dispersed protesters, security forces using water cannons and tear gas. Echo of the Caucasus reported this on Friday evening.

The reason for the dispersal was the use of pyrotechnics by the demonstrators. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one police officer was injured. In general, the protest was peaceful, just like the previous two days.

Detentions are also taking place in Republic Square. Protesters on Rustaveli Avenue were actually surrounded.

Newsgeorgia reports that security forces are stopping everyone they can get their hands on.

As reported, on November 28, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that Georgia rejects EU accession negotiations until 2028.

After that, people came out in Tbilisi to protest en masse against the government’s actions. Security forces tried to disperse the protesters with water cannons.
