Before the murder, the 19-year-old boy was bullied – he was watched for eight days in a row, he was not given medical help, he was beaten on the hands and neck with iron rods.
In Russia’s Primorsky Territory, a 19-year-old conscript was shot dead after refusing to fight in the Kursk region. He was tortured before being killed. The publication Important Story writes about it on Friday, December 6.
As journalists have learned, soldier Artem Antonov from Tatarstan was shot by a lieutenant of the 394th motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Federation with a Kalashnikov assault rifle. The killing took place on October 21 at the Ilyinsky training ground of the 60th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation in the Primorsky Territory.
According to the publication, Antonov was sent to the training area to replace motorized rifle units covering the border in the Kursk region. According to pre-trial materials obtained by Important Stories, the lieutenant, while training with the weapon, removed the safety of his AK-12 assault rifle and fired into the line of soldiers. A bullet hit Antonov in the head.
A relative of the murdered conscript believes the man may have been shot for refusing to sign a contract and go to war against Ukraine.
“We are all sure that the shooting was connected to the refusal to sign the contract. He told his friends that they were under pressure,” said the woman.
Other relatives of the man also said that the unit commanders tortured him repeatedly for the same reason.
“They mocked him, watched him for eight days in a row, did not give him medical help, beat him on the hands and neck with iron rods, he shared it with close friends in a closed group, which was removed immediately after of his death,” they said.
When relatives received the body of the dead Russian, they saw not only a bullet hole in the forehead, but also bruises all over the body. The family of the deceased knew the name of the officer who shot, but because of personal fear they were afraid to reveal it, the journalists added.
