With the help of F-16 fighters, seven cruise missiles were recently destroyed.

    .

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an interview with SkyNews:

Let’s talk about the F-16. There were fears that this would drag NATO into war. It was the same about HIMARS, then about the F-16 – the decision was made, but very late. How are F-16s being tested in Ukraine today? Great, very good. We have few F-16s, but they have already done a lot – they destroyed 7 cruise missiles just two nights ago. Missiles that were aimed at our infrastructure.

Let us recall that on November 28, during a massive attack by the Russian Federation, air defense forces shot down 76 cruise missiles, three guided missiles and 35 drones. Another 62 UAVs were lost. In total, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces detected 188 air attack weapons from the evening of November 27 to the morning of November 28.
