Zelensky explained how to stop the hot phase of the war

The hot phase of the war will be stopped by the umbrella of NATO in the controlled part of Ukraine, the president believes.

Ukraine’s entry into NATO could help end the hot war phase started by Russia. And conquered territories can be returned through diplomatic means. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an interview with Sky News.

According to the head of state, the invitation to NATO itself should contain the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine.

“If we want to stop the hot phase of the war, we need to take the territory of Ukraine under the umbrella of NATO, we must do it quickly and then Ukraine can return the occupied territories diplomatically said.

In his opinion, this format of the ceasefire is necessary to “make sure that Putin does not return to occupy more Ukrainian territory.”

Let’s recall that Ukraine expected to receive an official invitation to NATO at the July summit in Washington, but this did not happen.

Ukraine has called on NATO to give it an invitation to join the Alliance at a meeting to be held on December 3-4 in Brussels.
