Ukraine will receive additional money from the World Bank
On Thursday, November 28, the World Bank approved additional financing in the amount of $664 million. for the INSPIRE project, which will continue to support social payments to the most vulnerable segments of the population. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal announced this on the social network.
Today, the World Bank approved additional financing of $664 million. for the INSPIRE project, which will continue to support 29 types of social payments to the most vulnerable segments of the population of Ukraine, the statement said.
According to him, this money will come from the ADVANCEUkraine Trust Fund for providing the necessary credit support to Ukraine, supported by the Japanese government.
Szmigal thanked the Japanese government and the leadership of the World Bank for their continued support and cooperation.
Let us recall that on November 27, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal announced that Ukraine received $4.8 billion. from the World Bank. This money came as part of the PEACE project – the largest investment project in the history of the bank, launched to support Ukraine in the implementation of reforms, social and educational spheres, healthcare, agricultural producers, as well as reconstruction projects.
