After the departure of NewJeans from HYBE and ADOR, the oldest of the quintet, Minji, explained the company’s response to the requests sent by the group
In a press conference held this Thursday, 28, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein, of the girl group New Jeans, announced their departure from HYBE Corporation and ADOR, after the end of the stipulated period of 14 days for the companies to respond to their demands.
The member Minjithe oldest of the quintet, reported ADOR’s response regarding the advance notice given by the group and the stipulated deadline.
“Yes, they sent the response 1 hour ago before this conference, so it was a little late, but we all read it. When I read the email, it was quite serious. They stated that the 14 days given were not enough, they are sad because they could not resolve this with the members, there were things that were beyond ADOR’s control. However, no action was taken and we also made these demands during our live broadcast in September. They were never interested in the legal notice and the response was. full of lies and excuses.”
The members also reinforced the companies’ disregard, the member Hanni further commented that “ADOR does not have the will or ability to protect NewJeans”, and that the girl group’s group and staff faced “mistreatment”, as well as “countless impediments and contradictions, deliberate miscommunications and manipulation in several areas”, as well as other reasons for termination.

Still at the press conference, Hyein and Danielle, members of the group, stated that the quintet will remain together, and that they intend to continue with the formation’s name.
