Russian aggressors shot two captured Ukrainian soldiers in the direction of Pokrovsky. The Office of the Prosecutor General announced this on Wednesday, November 20.
It is indicated that on November 10, the invaders stormed the fortress of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Novodmitrovka, Pokrovsky district. There they captured two soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. After that, the Russians forced the prisoners to strip and, at gunpoint, took them to a plantation in the forest, where they were shot.
The Office of the Prosecutor General is also examining information about the killing of the occupiers of three other wounded defenders in this position.
Law enforcement officials recalled that such enemy actions are classified as a serious international crime and a grave violation of the Geneva Conventions. A pre-trial investigation was launched into a war crime resulting in the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Earlier in November, it was reported that law enforcement officials were investigating 49 criminal proceedings related to the killing of 124 prisoners of war on the battlefield. But after that, new facts of the killings of Ukrainian fighters appeared.
